The Sunrise Quartet will perform a selection from their upcoming appearance at the National Gallery of Art. These Sunday afternoon events provide a welcome and refreshing respite from the week's activities. They include a miniconcert by a small ensemble of musicians drawn from the orchestra, who speak informally about the selections they are performing; light refreshments; and conversation. The Musicales, which are by invitation, also serve as fundraisers.
